Hatchers Pass, Alaska - Cabin Elopement
Situated above treeline at 3,000 feet in the Talkeetna Mountains is Hatchers Pass, nearby Palmer, Alaska. If you’re looking for a dream spot to elope, you’ve found it.
While taking photos here all the way until 11:00pm at night because Alaska summers never get dark (!) we definitely heard marmots, and we saw one hiker with a pet goat this glorious day.
Yes, the adorably rustic cabins you’ll see photographed are available to stay in, and you can just click here to get the details about that. So, literally after saying your vows, you could just tuck away into this cabin in a glacier-sculpted valley.
I made a little review for wander workshop a couple blog posts back when we shot at portage lake, alaska, and I’m also so excited to be blogging this equally amazing day in photographers paradise with Elaine & Justin being flawless while running around Hatcher Pass.
“Amid stunning mountain vistas. Here you can hike to alpine lakes and high tundra meadows to smell wildflowers and pick berries. Hear marmots and ground squirrels announce your presence as eagles and falcons soar above the granite ridges.”
Can you believe they have never had professional photos done of the two of them together before?? They obviously killed the cuteness factor, as well as the team who put this together went above and beyond to create and style this dream elopement in the mountains - scroll down to see the full list of talented vendors. I’m so honored to have been able to take these photos, and I just gotta throw it out there…if YOU would like your own ceremony in the mountains, you know a girl eager as ever to photograph that and she’s 100% down to return to this ideal setting in the ever photogenic state of Alaska… (that girl dying to photograph more elopements there is me by the way.)
