Portland Cathedral Park Wedding
A TINY WEDDING IN PORTLAND, OR
UNDER THE ST. JOHN’S BRIDGE IN CATHEDRAL PARK
This was one of those weddings that was completely flipped when the pandemic hit - Megan and Andrew had to make a plan b and completely downscale their day. However, the love present wasn’t downscaled and it was an evening that started with the most magical ceremony, then a dinner all underneath my favorite bridge in Portland, St. Johns Bridge. Could you imagine getting married at this spot?? It’s insanely beautiful!
Speaking of beautiful, this bride, Megan, did her own floral arrangements and planned out the entire style and design of this micro wedding. The groom, Andrew, brewed all the beer for the day too - it went amazingly with the wood fired pizza from Gracie’s Apizza that was being served!
HOW TO GET MARRIED IN 2021 IN A PORTLAND PUBLIC AREA:
When I shared these photos on Instagram, I got a lot of responses that said they didn’t know you could have a private event in Cathedral Park, or a lot of other public areas!! Here’s a good resource from The City of Portland about permits and reservations for you if you’re looking at eloping or having a micro wedding in Portland!
If you’d like to see more wedding photos taken here, Checkout This Wedding I Photographed at The Colony, which is nearby this park in Portland! It’s perfect for getting photographs underneath the bridge, and having a bigger ceremony and reception in that gorgeous venue!
