At the beginning of 2020, shortly after they met, Suzy was writing down her annual manifestations with her friends. She wrote that she yearned for a life partner that would love and support her, and that’s exactly what the universe gave her. During their ceremony vows over 2 years later, she referenced that manifestation when she wrote: "Even stronger than hope was my profound knowing that my wish had already been granted."

Read MoreDakota and myself drove out to me them on a (very cold) Saturday morning outside of Eugene, and the scenery was PERFECT! Fog everywhere (my favorite) and then as the morning went on the sun rose and brought some warmth to the photos but not much to our freezing hands. They made some coffee and sipped it for warmth, and it was just a lovely morning. I love photographing milestones and life’s little adventures. It’s easy to skip through moments that you’ll one day look back on, and so providing some colors to those memories are my favorite.
