European Style Wedding Venues in Oregon

European Style Wedding Venues in Oregon

Are you drawn to dramatic, historic and luxurious surroundings for your wedding day but want to stay in Oregon? I have the perfect suggestions of the best European inspired wedding venues to view while you’re on the lookout for a hidden gem right in the PNW.

The Wedding scene in Oregon, specifically for destination weddings is growing ever popular. The mountains, waterfalls, forests and oceans make it not just one of the best places to visit, but also the best places to get married in the U.S. As a local Oregon Wedding Photographer, I might be biased, but after photographing so many weddings and witnessing more than 50% of my couples flying into this state to get married, the social proof shows it’s a dream destination wedding location!

Many people think all that Oregon has to offer is the nature landmarks and if you do get married here, you’re stuck with a rustic farmhouse or cabin-type feel to your wedding venue. Which isn’t the case now that some treasures are coming to the surface!

From stunning renaissance architecture to Tuscan inspired villas, here are the closest European style weddings venues right in Oregon.

Benson Hotel

Benson Hotel is a European-style hidden gem in Portland! The Italian marble floors, Austrian crystal chandeliers, and Circassian walnut wood are just a few of the unique features of this hotel. They have welcomed celebrities through their doors for over 100 years, remaining one of the best historic hotels around.

Villa Catalana Cellar

Villa Catalana is like walking through a portal and arriving into a fairyland. Everything from the arches in the architect to the castle-like feel of the main building…it’s just magical! I love how there is an indoor arboretum that is just as stunning as the quirky and gorgeous areas on the outside. Better yet, if you have your wedding at Villa Catalana, you can have the wine grown from their vineyards. Villa Catalana doesn’t accept many weddings per year, making it a rather exclusive and first come first serve basis.
