Peninsula Park, Portland Wedding Photos
Kate & Alex’s Peninsula Park, Portland Wedding
These two had been engaged for two years before they tied the knot this last June in Portland, OR. The rose garden at Peninsula Park was in peak bloom, so their timing couldn’t have been more perfect. I had so much fun taking wedding portraits of this wonderful couple, their adorable son and all their friends and family in the rose filled park!
Kate booked a beautiful little airbnb for getting ready in the neighborhood near Peninsula Park in order for their official wedding portraits to be taken at this special landmark for them. They often spend time in the park so the opportunity to take these photos on their wedding day was so meaningful for them. I loved how their son was running around and playing the whole time - movement shots are my absolute favorite so taking candid photos of him with his parents was so fun and the photos turned out so sweet.
For their ceremony and reception, we headed to Firehouse Restaurant. When Kate first inquired with me, she mentioned her background in fashion and design and was excited to plan a well styled event. She definitely did so and all the lovely bright but soft colors were adorable for early summer and created a beautiful dinner atmosphere at the restaurant!

Love knows no bounds, and for Lisa and Ethan, their journey led them to the breathtaking landscapes of the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. More specifically, one of my favorite venues, The Griffin House.
